Seller Services
SVI maintains a large network of buyers waiting to review companies for Sale to include: Corporations, Venture capitalists, and individuals.
After completing a valuation and setting the market price with the owner, SVI prepares an offering memorandum profile, and a summary for presentation to potential buyers. A marketing plan is researched for the most likely candidates from our own database first and for appropriate direct mail and/or media campaigns.
Each contact is reported to the seller. Confidentiality is maintained by assigning a profile number to the selling company. References are to that number only and descriptions, locations, etc., are kept general.
Potential buyer is required to submit financial and technical qualification to SVI. They must be accepted by the seller before a visit is arranged and confidentiality is uncovered.
Venture Capital
Venture capital (also known as VC or Venture) is a type of private equity capital typically provided for early-stage, high-potential, growth companies in the interest of generating a return through an eventual realization event such as an IPO or trade sale of the company. Venture capital investments are generally made as cash in exchange for shares in the invested company.
Offering Memorandum
A legal document stating the objectives, risks and terms of investment involved with a private placement. This includes items such as the financial statements, management biographies, detailed description of the business, etc. An offering memorandum serves to provide buyers with information on the offering and to protect the sellers from the liability associated with selling unregistered securities.
